VIKTOR & ROLF FRAGRANCE LAUNCH

On Friday night, Viktor & Rolf hosted a launch party for their new fragrance Tiger Lily Flowerbomb. The Sky Terrace of the Miami Beach Edition served as the perfect backdrop among bushes of tiger lilies, countless photo ops & a 15 minute drone show that took over the night sky.

The event was reminiscent of the scent – a summer oasis of sweet tiger lilies. The guest list included every influential influencer from the east coast and even brought out the face of the fragrance, Emily Ratajowski, to snap pictures with guests.

Thank you V&R and Industria Creative for having me be part of such a beautiful night!

PEGASUS WORLD CUP INVITATIONAL 2022

There’s only one time a year when obnoxiously big hats & puffy dresses are encouraged in So Florida & it’s for its premier annual derby the Pegasus World Cup Invitational at Gulfstream Park.

I’ve been lucky enough to DJ this special event since it’s inception in 2017 & every year truly gets better! Back performing for VIP ticket holders in the Flamingo Room, this year the room collaborated with Faena’s cabaret show “Tryst” for small performances in between DJ sets & culinary provided by the highly anticipated LA transplant, Delilah. Of course, the room is also setup for live viewing of the race… but let’s face it, we’re really only there for the music & drinks!

The day long event started at 10am for me & lasted way until sundown when the derby turns into a full on concert on the track. This year’s line-up was a 90’s throwback with performances by Ja Rule, Lil Kim & Mase. Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day with the weather dropping down to 60 degrees (the wind however, was not favorable to hats!)

Thank you to 1/st Entertainment for adding me to the line-up, already looking forward  to (and planning attire for) next year!

FERRARI RE-GRAND OPENING AT THE COLLECTION

The Collection in Coral Gables celebrated the grand re-opening of it’s Ferrari showroom & of course, it was no light affair. Veuve was flowing, Cigars were rolling, & I had the pleasure of soundtracking it all. The new showroom includes an all-new Atelier lounge, state-of-the-art configurator, library, interactive video walls of course painted in the perfect hue of Ferrari red. (is that a Pantone… because it should be?!)

On site: a Ferrari Testa Rossa Junior car, which pays homage to the Ferrari Testa Rossa in a beautiful scaled tribute with just 299 cars built. 360 photo booth camera’s to cover your instagram content & my personal fave, the Veuve Clicquot champagne cart.

On display: the Icon limited edition Ferrari Monza SP2, a Ferrari Formula 1 car, and a Ferrari Tailor Made Roma with wooden trim details. However, the peak of the night was the unveiling of the all-new Ferrari 296 GTB. The 296 GTB is an evolution of Ferrari’s mid-rear-engined two-seater sports Berlinetta concept, it represents a revolution for Ferrari as it introduces the new 120° V6 engine coupled with a plug-in (PHEV) electric motor capable of delivering up to 818 hp. (I literally copied that, because let’s not pretend I know about exotic cars… still here for it!)

ROLLS ROYCE BLACK BADGE GHOST LAUNCH

It was an all black affair for the very secretive global launch of the all new Rolls Royce black badge ghost. The two day event took place in an undisclosed location in Wynwood & Inca Productions put together the most special event as sleek & sophisticated as the brand itself. (Think Gotham City meets Virgin Galactic Headquarters.)

Built on the Ghost’s same aluminum space frame platform, the new variant goes from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds (which is 0.3 seconds faster than before!)

Lighting design was incredible, Sound – top notch, and yours truly set the vibe alongside a violinist in anticipation of the big reveal. Thank you Inca & Rolls Royce for having me be part of the magic!

MARIA TASH STORE OPENING

Last week, designer Maria Tash hosted an intimate cocktail event to celebrate the luxury piercing brand’s new location in Bal Harbour Shops. The brand is popular for luxury piercing featuring fine jewels to curate any ear. I actually revived an old piercing from the early 2000’s that was sure had closed with the help of their professional piercing team set up in the back of the store. (And no, it didn’t it hurt one bit!)

Maria’s collection is refined, elegant and equally edgy and innovative. To translate that to music, on the playlist… Depeche Mode, MGMT, The Black Keys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and some other industrial rock favorites.

It was great to reunite with some of my favorite friends who came out to support the launch and a few that worked behind the scenes to make the event flawless.

Be sure to stop in & shop the new collection, I know I’ll be back for a new piercing or two!

ART BASEL x RICHARD MILLE AFTER DARK

Wayne Boich’s annual Basel bash has quickly become my most anticipated event of the year! (Mostly, because Matt Brooks, leaves me literally in anticipation by never revelaing any of the event info prior to my arrival.) This year, the exclusive invite-only party was presented by Richard Mille, Don Julio 1942, and again partnered with one of my all time favorite brands, Armand de Briganc champagne. Celebrity guests included Dan Marino, Floyd Mayweather, Michael Bay, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Alesso were in attendance.

I kicked off the night with an old school hiphop & dancehall set before Ruckus took over the decks. Shortly after, Wyclef, Nelly & 2 Chainz graced the stage to perform all our favorite hits. Nothing beats an intimate concert overlooking the Miami skyline under perfect fall weather… grateful to have been a part of the experience another year!

FERRARI F8 TRIBUTO LAUNCH

Who doesn’t love to be first?! Last night, I was amongst the first group of 250 people to lay eyes on the brand new Ferrari F8 Tributo.

Set in the new & sleek Ferrari showroom in Miami, the event featured a red carpet arrival, champagne, hors d’ oeuvres, and of course, the dramatic unveiling of the F8 Tributo – revealed from behind a drop curtain. I provided the soundtrack for the entire evening, which just like the new Ferrari, was a blend of classic & all new features.

The Ferrari F8 Tributo is a tribute to the legacy of Ferrari’s mid-engine V8 sports cars. It features design elements that recall classic models such as the louvered rear window of the Ferrari F40, and quad round tail lights of the Ferrari 308 GTB. It also features the same engine of the track-focused 488 Pista. In short, the F8 Tributo is the MOST powerful regular production V8 car that Ferrari has ever produced!

Big thanks to Ferrari & my friends at The Collection for having me play a part in luxury car history.

DE BEERS BAL HARBOUR OPENING

De Beers celebrated its new home in Bal Harbour Shops with an exclusive, art-inspired event at Le Sirenuse inside The Four Seasons Surfside. The new store represents the third U.S. location for the legendary Home of Diamonds. The guest list included company VIPs, Miami socialites and influencers.

Aside from experiencing one-of-a-kind High Jewellery pieces, guests also indulged in cocktails while I soundtracked a Miami-eque lounge set accompanied by violinist Siobhan Cronin. The most fascinating piece on display that night was the De Beers Talisman Wonder, featuring  a combination of 110 rough and 580 polished diamonds, with a total carat weight of 271. (which took over 2,000 hours to create, pays homage to ancient traditions while infusing it with a contemporary edge.) Also to celebrate the Bal Harbour opening, a limited edition cover inspired by nature was created for the De Beers Assouline book. The cover was designed in collaboration with Argentine-American artist Deon Rubi, a fixture in Miami’s art scene and whose work has been featured at PAMM and the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami.

Thank you to De Beers for lending me some of their beautiful jewels to compliment my look. (I admit, I rarely wear earrings because they caught in my headphones, but these were to die for!) And thank you to Kreps DeMaria PR for an elegantly executed production.

PEGASUS WORLD CUP INVITATIONAL

The Pegasus World Cup Invitational returned for its 3rd year to Gulfstream Park with a $16 million purse, making it the richest race in North America. As one of South Florida’s most entertaining & glamourous day events of the year, I was beyond excited to return in full derby attire & provide the all-day tunes at the race’s VIP level, the Flamingo Room. Up & away from the wet weather, here VIPs enjoyed bites from some of my personal favorites, including Swan & Bar Bevy, and G.H. MUMM champagne. The race drew 10,000 fans, celebrities, horse racing elites, influencers and socialites even on the rainiest day.

At the end of a long but eventful day, there were two championship races with City of Light, ridden by Hall of Fame Jockey Javier Castellano, claiming the $4 million first place finish for the Pegasus World Cup Invitational, and Bricks and Mortar, ridden by Eclipse Award-winning Jockey Irad Ortiz Jr., taking the first place $3 million purse for the inaugural Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational.

Just off memory, we had Snoop Dogg, Dennis Rodman and Evander Holyfield in my room, and Mark Ronson even stopped by the booth for a quick chat, before he headed downstairs to headline the LIV Village Stretch. Many thanks again to The Stronach Group for the special invitation. Looking forward to making this a yearly tradition!
