IRIE WEEKEND XII

I was so excited & honored to participate in the 12th annual Irie Weekend for the 2nd year in a row! Not only do I get to contribute to my friend Irie’s charitable cause but I also get to experience the mother of all golf tournaments – win, win!

Hitting the green again at the iconic Miami Beach Golf Club, I opened the event right before the national anthem & DJ Irie took stage for his welcoming speech. I later played with a roster of talented DJs inside the VIP tent as celebrity guests including, Ray Allen, Alonzo Mourning, & Gary Sheffield slid through to cool off after a hot morning of hitting balls throughout the course.

The weekend rounded out with it’s annual BBQ beach bash at the Sherborne Hotel & the closing celebration at E11even with T-Pain, Ace Hood & other famous faces

9TH ANNUAL LILLY PULITZER x AMERICAN RED CROSS BEACH BASH

What an honor to be invited back to soundtrack the night in Palm Beach for now the 9th Annual Red Cross Beach Bash.

Hundreds of pink-and-green (or yellow-and -orange, or blue-and-green) dressed holiday revelers ventured again to the Beach Club for  “The Greatest Escape” theme. The night was full of entertainment including saxophonist, Reggie Ellison playing alongside my party set.

Palm Beach sure knows how to party! Thank you once again to the American Red Cross & Lilly Pulitzer for providing the night’s attire!

7TH ANNUAL BLEAU GOES PINK

It’s always a pleasure to participate in events that raise awareness, October particularly is a busy month for me contributing to the cause of breast cancer. In partnership with Miami Magazine & Susan G. Komen, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hosted the 7th annual Bleau Goes Pink campaign.

I was humbled when asked to spin one of the biggest events  in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event known as, Miami Fights,  honored local breast cancer survivors, featured samplings from the hotel’s restaurants, and illuminated the Fontainebleau’s Chateau Tower pink for the remainder of the month.

8TH ANNUAL LILLY PULITZER X AMERICAN RED CROSS BEACH BASH

It was back to work right after the holiday,  crossing county lines up to Palm Beach, FL to  provide the music for the American Red Cross’s annual,  Beach Bash, collaborated with fashion house Lilly Pulitzer. to take a walk on the wild side on December 26, 2014 with a “

Hosted by Palm Beach’s next generation of philanthropic leaders the “What Happens in the Jungle, Stays in the Jungle” theme was held at The Beach Club for a night of dancing & fundraising. Deemed the season’s hottest party, the event attracted more than 700 young socialites from Palm Beach, Washington D.C., New York, Chicago and Miami, all to benefit the Palm Beach chapter of the American Red Cross.

DJ’ing so many events, you think I’ve seen it all, but the production behind this event was truly mind-blowing. Big thank you to American Red Cross Palm Beach chapter for having all proceeds from the party support the organization & to Lilly Pulitzer for dressing me for the night!
