MIAMI SWIM WEEK

Summer wouldn’t be complete without Miami Swim Week, a week full of bikini runway shows, celebrities & parties. First up, the annual kick-off event, Splashion presented by Miami Magazine. The eighth annual party & runway show was hosted by YesJulz and Uncle Luke at the W South Beach & even included a surprise performance by Kent Jones.

I spent the rest of the week soundtracking backstage sounds for all the models at L’oreal Professional’s activation, Hair Fashion Night. The global event takes place in 25 countries & considered the biggest night dedicated to hair trends from Beach Waves to Double Braids.

NOBE67 GRAND OPENING

It was the perfect fusion of art & fashion at the grand opening of NOBE67’s fashion + art pop-up at the White Dot Gallery in Wynwood.

Baby Jane Pop Up Bar and artists such as Camilo Rios, Van Alpert and Chez Nicolette were onsite showcasing their works of art. Meanwhile, I got to play dress up & try a variety of specialty merchandise not readily available elsewhere from over 40 emerging and established designers worldwide while spinning a tastefully curated set of remixed classics & indie music.

THE ART OF FASHION SHOW

Ocean Drive Magazine celebrated the newest in fall fashion by hosting the ART OF FASHION show at Neiman Marcus Coral Gables. Beauty stops were setup throughout the store including Nail Art from art atelier, Vanity Projects, hair touch ups by Glamsquad, and photo booths for snapping #ShoeSelfie’s in their stilleto’s (God, I love a good #Shoefie!)

The runway show featured the newest trends and must have items for men & women of the season hosted by CBS 4’s Lisa Petrillo. There were so many great pieces I’m definitely adding to my fall wardrobe. It was so much fun to supply the soundtrack to the models’ strut & to introduce new music to the over 500 stylish guests in attendance.

PERONI x 4TH ANNUAL EMERGING DESIGNER SERIES

It was a pleasure to spin for the most anticipated show of all Miami Swim Week, the 4th annual Emerging Designer Series Fashion Show at the SLS Hotel South Beach. The show sponsored by Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Fashion Group International & Italia Independent kicked off SwimWeek with a high-profile runway show for up-and-coming talented designers in Miami.

It was a hot & humid night, but over 1,000 guests were in attendance for an amazing fashion show & post-runway show party.
