LEXUS SELENA MOVIE DRIVE-IN

It’s been over a year since COVID wiped out any existing events, so when Lexus asked me to be part of what seems like the very first produced event to take place since the pandemic, I was 100% on board!

Adapting to the new norm of socially distanced events, drive-in movies have made a strong comeback. Lexus’ “Sabor De Lujo” events always aim to celebrate Latin culture, and for this particular event, they wanted to celebrate the life of the “Queen of Tejano music”, Selena. Playing the iconic 1997 film starring Jennifer Lopez as Selena, was the perfect tribute on the 26th year anniversary of her passing.

Cars pulled up into a huge fair ground with cinema style screen while sound was transmitted into their cars (including my pre & post film DJ sets). Food was catered from a few of Miami’s favorite food trucks and delivered right to everyone’s car window.

We played a lot of Selena hits, everyone sang along, but for me it was being back on stage that made my night.

BELVEDERE x SPECTRE 007 FILM RELEASE PARTY

After performing for the Belvedere Roadshow at Temple House, I was invited to DJ the after party for the private screening of the  highly anticipated 24th Bond installment, SPECTRE, at the 1 Hotel Rooftop on South Beach. The red carpet event included an appearance by actress Stephanie Sigman, who plays the role of Estrella in the movie’s opening scene.

Bond girls kept the Belvedere 007 martinis flowing while I kept the party goers moving, mixing dance classics with some of the best of Bond theme music.

BELVEDERE VODKA x SPECTRE 007 ROADSHOW

I always love to be amongst the first to experience something new, this time it was for the new partnership between Belvedere Vodka & the new James Bond film, SPECTRE, unveiling 007 limited edition Belvedere bottles. An event so exclusive & secretive, no pictures were allowed to be posted until the distributer’s public launch date.

The themed event included a cocktail reception featuring the Belvedere 007 martini while I incorporated classic James Bond songs throughout the night into my mix.
