GORDAN RAMSAY’S HELL’S KITCHEN GOP

Miami’s foodie scene just took a elevated step forward with the edition of Michelin-starred chef and television personality Gordan Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen. Inspired by the hit television series, the two level restaurant is located in Downtown Brickell in the Met Square Complex.

A grand opening for the books complete with champagne towers, specialty drinks, raw bar & passed bites of Ramsay’s signature dishes including his coveted Beef Wellington. We drank, ate & danced it all off till the very end with send-off goody bags courtesy of Ramsay & Hexclad.

PASTIS MIAMI GRAND OPENING

Restauranteurs Stephan Starr & Keith McNally hosted the grand opening of the year with a A+ guest list that included all the who’s who of Miami’s nightlife / hospitality scene. The iconic French brassiere that started in NYC’s meatpacking district & later famed throughout seasons of Sex & the City made it’s way to Miami’s streets of Wynwood & I was so honored to supply the french music & vibes for the night.

Accompanied by a live Jazz band, french indie pop & dance was on the playlist, while endless pours of champagne & macaroons filled the room. Everything from decor to food was tres chic! Special thanks to my friends at the @wearethesecretsauce for having me on such a fun & festive night.

SOBEWFF SIPS & DIPS

February only means one thing to me, the return of South Beach Wine & Food Festival. A time for copious amounts of cocktails and indulging in one too many “bites”.
Had the please of soundtracking one of the festival’s newest additions to it’s culinary event line-up, Sips & Dips.
Hosted at the 1 Hotel Travel Channel’s by Adam Richman, the event provided an exploration of of food pairings, from traditional strip steak dipped into chimichurri to pita’s dipped in nutella. Not to mention plenty of prosecco & Patron to set any party off right.

SOUTH BEACH SEAFOOD FESTIVAL VIP CHEF SHOWDOWN

The VIP Chef Showdown during South Beach Seafood Week has quickly become one of my favorite events of the year, as it keeps getting bigger and wilder! The night assembles top executive chefs for 8 competitive (and often, over-the-top) cook-offs. With thousands of guests flocking over to the hospitality village, the energy is truly next level. Attendees cheer on their favorite chef, sample the dishes of each competing chef, and dance to the party set I provide during each battle.

The main event, Battle Taco is the night’s biggest attraction with feuding rivals, Naked Taco & Bodega always going head to head. And although it was a close match, this year, it was returning champ, Bernie Matz FTW!

Special thanks to all the sponsors who made the entire weekend of festivities possible and to my friends at CI Management for having me back to DJ for a third year.

TIME OUT MARKET GRAND OPENING

After some expected delays, Time Out Market finally opened it’s first location in Miami Beach. Time Out Market which opened it’s first doors in Lisbon, Portugal, has become a popular tourist attraction by placing some of the world’s best chefs under one roof. The Miami grand opening celebration included a lengthy guest list of the city’s influencers, foodies, hospitality professionals, media and VIPs. Unlike other food halls, this food and cultural market is 18,000 square feet and features 18 eateries, a demonstration kitchen, three bars, and one cultural space.

The energy was great throughout the entire night, amongst some of my favorite friends and favorite chefs. Thank you Time Out for choosing me to set the musical tone!
