LVMH HOLIDAY PARTY

What’s a holiday without bubbly? And there was plenty of it last week! It was an honor to DJ one of the world’s most coveted brands, LVMH’s  holiday party. In true glitz & glamour fashion, the event was held at the infamous Versace mansion with a Moet-infused welcome reception in the courtyard with the most gorgeous christmas tree perched behind Versace’s fountain. A Belvedere lounge was also created in one of the villa’s grandoise rooms while the main event took place out by the pool where clear glass was laid over to give the illusion of dancing on water.

On the playlist: classic Chaka Khan, George Michael & Prince jams and later for post-dinner dancing, everything from golden-era hiphop to modern reggaeton. Words can’t describe the beauty or energy of the night. Special thanks to ManMar productions & the Louis Vuitton Moet-Hennessy Travel & Retail division for including me in their holiday festivities!

JAGUAR E-PACE LAUNCH

Let’s face it, when it comes to reveal parties for luxury cars, no one does it better than The Collection. The disco themed event featured the all-new Jaguar E-Pace. The luxury SUV brings the British brand’s trademark style to the ever-expanding segment of small luxury crossovers. A turbo 2.0-liter inline-four makes 246 hp and has all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The showroom was flooded with guests to get their first glance at the newest addition to the Jaguar family. It was a night of firsts, focusing on fashion and food celebrating the grand opening of the all-new Boutique at The Collection and B Bistro + Bakery, The Collections newest amenity for customers. On the playlist, Nu and Classic Disco with a sprinkle of Miami Vibes.

NORTH AMERICA FERRARI CHALLENGE WEEKEND

How do you kick-off Ferrari Challenge Weekend? Unveiling the all-new Ferrari 812 Superfast at The Collection in Coral Gables of course! I love partnering up with The Collection & getting first glances and close-up views of their latest & greatest luxury cars. The Ferrari 812 Superfast is the fastest and most powerful Ferrari yet!  In addition to witnessing the unveiling of the car (in Ferrari’s signature yellow color), VIPs sipped on cocktails, enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and experienced up close and personal look at the new stunner in person & virtually in an interactive experience with the car featured in the all-new Project Cars 2 XBOX game.

The Ferrari’s debut was a commencement to the Ferrari Challenge which runs on the most scenic and well-known circuits in the world to allow its clients to enjoy themselves and their cars in a competitive and safe environment. This year, those circuits included Laguna Seca, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Mosport, Road America and Circuit of the Americas, before returning to Homestead-Miami Speedway for the final round in North America. Always a pleasure working with clients like Ferrari & The Collection, thanks for having provide the soundtrack to such a great event!

CASINO FOR A CURE x PORSCHE PANAMERA UNVEILING

Two of my favorite things, philantrhopy & poker collided at Miami’s premier dealership for luxury cars at The Collection for their first-ever Casino for a Cure poker tournament to unveil the all-new Porsche Panamera. The Porsche showroom was transformed into a luxury casino to benefit The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis. The Collection has been one of my longest (& favorite) clients, their events are always nothing short of superior. This one included blackjack, craps and roulette tables and of course, the new Panamera hiding under its silk drape in the center of the showroom that eventually revealed the most technologically advanced Porsche ever built.

There was also a silent auction to benefit the cause featuring everything from signed basketballs and baseballs to a signed 2016 U.S. Women’s Gymnastics Team medal. Prizes from the Poker tournament also included a business class trip for two to the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta with all accommodations paid for, a 7-day luxury cruise and a basketball signed by Miami’s forever favorite, Dwayne Wade. One thousand dollars of each Porsche Panamera sale was given to benefit the cause and 100% of event proceeds went to benefit The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis. Thank you to The Collection for putting together such a fun, charitable event & for having me contribute to the cause.

PEGASUS WORLD CUP INVITATIONAL 2017

This past Saturday, I not only attended my first horse race, I was also asked to take part of the star-studded line-up for the 1st ever Pegasus World Cup Invitational and what is now the richest horse race in the world. With over 12,000 stakeholders, celebrities, socialites and racing fans filling up seats at Gulfstream Park, it was the most highly anticipated match-up in Thoroughbred racing history between California Chrome and Arrogate.

I had the privilege of playing a set between personal favorites, DJ Cassidy & Ruckus inside 10 Palms that hosted more than 600 VIPs and A-listers including Vanessa Hudgens, Aaron Paul (GUSH), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Love her!), Gene Simmons (of KISS… legend.), Karolina Kurkova and Usher just to name a few. After the races, I took the main stage following multi-platinum artist Thomas Rhett while E! News host Maria Menounos reported live on NBC behind me. A huge Thank You to both E11evn & The Stronach Group for the honorable invite.

NEIMAN MARCUS x OCEAN DRIVE MAGAZINE

Ocean Drive Magazine along with sister publication Art Basel Magazine hosted the FURTIF ART PROJECT at Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour. The event showcased this season’s most sought-after and modern designers in a runway fashion show that I had a pleasure soundtracking. In the audience were Miami’s leading arts philanthropists, collectors and art lovers and participating artists TYPOE, AHOL and Santiago Rubino. Aside from the runway show, the night included a one-of-a-kind artistic collaboration with Roche Bobois and six notable talents to reimagine the iconic FURTIF desk. Heidi Klum, Venus Williams, RISK, Santiago Rubino, TYPOE, and AHOL each transformed the desks into works of art which are available for auction with proceeds benefiting one of Miami’s most notable and respected charity organizations, Lotus House. The auction of Heidi Klum’s design will benefit UNICEF. The FURTIF ART PROJECT will be on display at Roche Bobois’ Wynwood Miami Warehouse and available for auction through December 5 at www.biddingforgood.com/thefurtifartproject.

And just weeks before…

Another stylish night at Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour included 100 VIP members joined to preview a custom fashion presentation curated exclusively for the group redefining the new business casual dress code. Music for the fashion show was provided by myself and included a live musical performance by The Voice runner-up Karina Iglesias. As always, Thank you Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour for always thinking of me to curate the fashionable beats.

PRESTIGE YACHTS x FT. LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

This year’s 57th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show was the largest in the event’s history. Held in FLL, which is considered the yachting capital of the world, the Bahia Mar was home base for the annual celebration of the boating lifestyle with thousands of people in attendance.

Club Prestige VIP members were treated to a special reception to celebrate the launch of Prestige Yachts’ all-new models. The event was a decidedly high-class affair, complete with champagne,  gourmet bites, and myself rocking inside one it’s million dollar boats. A big Thank You to Prestige for having me on board!

PORSCHE 911 TARGA 4S UNVEILING

They say, If you’re not first you’re last, and I always feel so fortunate to be amongst the first to witness a new car unveiling thanks to my friends at The Collection. Porsche VIPS gathered for an interactive evening celebrating the arrival of the Exclusive Design Edition Porsche 911 Targa 4S. Dubbed the Exclusive Design Edition, the transformable 911 will be limited to approximately 100 cars worldwide, The Collection Miami is one of the exclusive dealerships to carry this beauty.

Guests sipped on handcrafted cocktails courtesy of Baby Jane, dinner by the bite from Grown, craft donuts from The Salty Donut, hand-made items from the latest Ferragamo line, freshly rolled cigars and music curated by your truly.

FERRARI x DOUGLAS ELLIMAN REAL ESTATE

It was a night of luxury spinning for the elite few invited for a private viewing of one of the most beautiful estates in Miami Beach at 4555 Pine Tree Drive. The property is built with the perfect balance of modern & art deco design… oh yeah, and a custom built water slide from the second level into the infinity pool!

Hosted by Douglas Elliman Real Estate & The Collection Ferrari, guests were greeted with Whispering Angel Rosé and Moet & Chandon Ice Imperial & then invited to test drive the all new Ferrari California T.

MAISON & OBJET AMERICAS

As a lover of design, I was thrilled to DJ for Maison & Objet Americas for the second consecutive year. This time, the annual awards celebration took place at the iconic Moore Building in the Miami Design District. M&O is the french trade show that gathers professional players in decoration, furniture, home accessories & fabrics for home and design in search of innovation & emerging trends.

The event visits the states annually and is hosted here in Miami. This year’s Designer of the Year award went to Rafael de Cardenas. The event produced by client favorites, The Rally Agency, included incredible lighting & catering, a harpist and a Parisian inspired soundtrack by yours truly.
